JT Travel Service is located at 7519 Quill Drive, Downey, CA 90242. Invoices pertaining to tours are issued by JT Travel Service. In the following text JT Travel Service is referred as JT Tours (JTT). JT Travel Service does not act as provider of services.
DEPOSIT, RESERVATION AND REGISTRATION
A deposit of $300.00 paid in full per person is required to reserve a land tour. It will hold your reservation until 90 days before departure or as payment is specified when the full balance becomes due. Your completed and signed reservation application form may be faxed or mailed.
The Reservation Fee (deposit) is refundable in full if cancellation is made in writing and postmarked within 14 days of booking the tour.
PAYMENTS
If booking is made within 60 days before the departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Full payment is due 90 days before the departure date. In the event that an invoice is not received, your payment is still due by due date. Final travel documents and airline e-tickets will be mailed only after your account has been paid in full and your completed confirmation statement has been received.
Payment received less than 90 days before the date of departure, will incur a $50 late fee. There will be additional shipping charges for tour packages mailed outside USA and expressed mailing within USA
JTT reserves the right to cancel a reservation if your payment is not received on time. Cancellation fees will be applied.
FORM OF PAYMENT
Money order, bank certified checks, personal check (no post-dated), credit cards (Discover, American Express, VISA, MC) with signed and completed authorization form. Returned checks will incur a $30.00 service fee. All checks and money orders should be made payable to “JT Travel Service”.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
TRAVEL INSURANCE through Travel Guard: Strongly recommended
A comprehensive travel insurance plan provides coverage for Trip Cancellation & Interruption protecting you against cancellation penalties, Travel Delay, Emergency Medical Expense/ Travel Accidents and Optional Sickness Coverage, in case your health insurance does not cover you outside the United States, and for Lost Baggage.
CHANGE FEES
Request for all changes included but not limited to changes to departure and return date, departure and return city in U.S.and destination country, ‘air and land’ to ‘land only or vice versa, and changes in participant’s name are subject to availability and acceptance of JT Travel Service. Request must be in writing and submitted by fax or mail. Upon confirmation by JT Travel Service, change fee of $75.00 will apply, in addition to any applicable increase in your price.
OPTIONAL TOURS
Maybe paid in cash during the tour, or with MasterCard or Visa 20 days before departure.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be in writing. Postmark prevails. An administration fee of $200 per person will be added to the following charges:
Prior to departure: Cancellation Fee:
60 – 46 days before departure 15% of tour price
45 – 31 days before departure 20% of tour price
30 – 16 days before departure 50% of tour price
15 – Days or less or no-show 100% or tour price
Once the tour commences, no refunds will be made for any trip interruptions, unused services, missed meals or any voluntary modifications made by the tour participant.
Refunds: Valid refund request will be processed within 30 days from receipt of written request.. Payments made by credit cards will be charged for an additional 3.5%.
PRICING AND PRICE GUARANTEE
Possibility of an airfare price increase disclosure
Airfare price is guaranteed only when fully paid.
"I understand that the airline tickets or air tours I am purchasing are subject to supplemental price increases after the date of deposit is made due to additional charges imposed by a supplier or government. I acknowledge that I may be charged additional sums by JT Travel Service to offset increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, and fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof. I hereby consent to any post-purchase (deposit) price increases and authorize JT Travel Service to charge my credit card or collect cash payment for such additional amounts." Sign (Reservation Form) if you agree.
Code-Share Rule
“The airline carrier, which may include the carrier’s code-share partner, will be assigned and disclosed at a later date”.

Hazardous Materials Rule
"Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years' imprisonment and penalties of $259,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids, and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles and radio-pharmaceuticals.
There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further information contact your airline representative."

NOT INCLUDED
“LAND ONLY” ARRANGEMENT
You may purchase a tour without the trans- Atlantic airfare. The “Land Only” price for the itinerary of your choice will be quoted upon request. If you decide to make your own flight arrangements, you will also be responsible for arranging your transportation from and to the airport. “Land Only” passengers may join the group transfers at no additional charge if their flights allow them to do so. JTT will not be liable for services you purchased separately.
ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy with private bath or shower.
Only in limited areas triple accommodation is possible. Triple rooms usually consist of a twin-bedded room with an additional cot or folding bed for the third person. There will be no reduction of cost for triple rooms.
Single rooms are available at a supplementary cost. Also these rooms tend to be smaller than a double room and maybe poorly located. Hotel rooms in Europe are typically smaller than those in the United States and do not always offer air conditioning due to milder climate. Note that a twin room may have two single beds placed side by side sharing the same headboard.
MEALS
In-flight snacks and meals are served according to airline guidelines. Daily continental or buffet breakfast included on all tours. Dinners are provided as specified on itineraries. Beverages not included in hotel meals.
TOUR DIRECTOR
The operator reserves the right to substitute the tour director with a qualified driver / guide when the number of tour participants fall below 25.
HEALTH AND PHYSICAL CONDITION
Escorted tours in general require a fair amount of walking. While we encourage participation of disabled travelers on our tours some itineraries and sites are not wheelchairs and motorized scooters accessible. A walker is not practical on our tour due to motor coach entrances, uneven sidewalks and cobblestone streets. Motor coaches are not equipped with ramps/lifts. Hotels do not offer provisions for the physically disabled. If you require additional assistance of any type, you must bring a capable travel companion who can help you keep up with the pace of the tour. Oxygen tanks are not permitted on the motor coaches.
MINORS
Children under 8 years old are not accepted in the tours due to the difficulty to keep them entertained. Children between 8-17 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian. No discounts would be offered.
RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY CLAUSE
For our customized tours:
JT Travel Service acts as your Tour Operator and is responsible in supplying services and accommodations offered in the brochure as they relate to the land portion of the tour. If such services/accommodations can not be supplied due to causes beyond the Operator’s control, there shall be no liability or responsibility. The Operator at its best will arrange for provision of comparable services and accommodations. Travel itineraries may be subject to change or cancellation at anytime with or without prior notice for any reasonable cause. Such changes will not be considered a cause for the participant to cancel. Cancellation penalties will apply.
The suppliers providing land and air transportation, hotel accommodations and other services are independent contractors and not agents nor employees of JTT. All services are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers and the laws of the country where the services are supplied. Henceforth, JTT is not liable for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity, or of any third party. Sales and marketing promoters are not agents, employees or authorized representatives of JTT.
JTT reserves the right to revise any aspect of the tour at any time including changes in itinerary due to unforeseen and special circumstances including but not limited to traffic delays, weather conditions, holidays, special season events and establishments operating hours. JTT is not responsible for compensation for sites omitted from the itinerary due to conditions beyond its control.
Group tour with less than 20 participants maybe canceled or rescheduled. In cases of cancellation of this nature, it is JT Travel Service's sole responsibility to provide a full refund.
The traveler agrees that JTT shall not be liable for any changes in flight schedules, equipment and routing changes by the airlines and not be responsible for additional costs associated with these changes.
JTT is not liable for damages or losses to property, personal injuries and death or expenses occasioned by acts or omissions of any person including the suppliers, providing services, or resulting from but not limited to, acts of God, acts of war or civic unrest, insurrection, revolts, terrorist activities, medical and other emergencies beyond the direct control of JTT. Travelers assume all risks. Cancellation for any of these reasons will not be eligible for refund.
JTT reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person whose conduct is incompatible or is likely to be detrimental to the enjoyment and safety of others, or for failure to abide by JTT’s regulations or direction of the Tour Director. The traveler may be send home at the traveler’s own expense.
Traveler consents to the use of his /her photographed tour related activities and likeness without compensation.
No representative, employee, or agent of JTT or contracted providers of services are authorized to modify, waive or in any way alter any provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
Signed registration and payment (deposit or full value of the tour) constitute your acceptance of these limitations of Liability or Responsibility and all provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
VISAS
It is your responsibility to determine which visas are required and to obtain them before your departure. US citizens are required to have passport to all trips outside of the USA , including Mexico and Canada , which must be valid at least 6 months beyond the completion date of the tour. You will be responsible for all expenses incurred.
JTTS is a registered Seller of Travel with the California Seller of Travel Program, Office of the Attorney General. CST 2097133-40 . Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California. JT Travel Service is a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund, which provides restitution in certain circumstances to passengers who are residents of California.
